Words We Should Know part 2

So here is another quick list of words that will enhance our understanding of Gods Word.    Sozo (4982) soteria-soterion ( saved- salvation) to save, deliver, to make whole. ( its not just about getting out of hell, its being made whole again, right with God!)  Sabbitismos (4520) rest: the noun sabbitismos, a Sabbath keeping, is used to indicate the perpetual Sabbath rest to be enjoyed uninterruptedly by believers in their felloship with the Father and the Son in contrast to the weekly Sabbath under the law. It is a divine rest into which the believers enter in relationship with God here on earth and in enernity.   Kurios (2962) Lord (GK) might ,power, lord, master, owner, the NT equivalent to the OT Jehovah.  Epipstates (1988) master (GK) it is the word used for the commander of a ship, used only by Luke, it denotes that Jesus is the one who steers the ship of our life.  Theos (2316) God (GK)  the One being, the One eternal in His existence, the One who has always been.   Paracletos (3875) helper (GK) the Holy Spirit is called paraclete because He undertakes Christ's office in the world while Christ is not in the world as the God-Man in bodily form. In addition the Holy Spirit is called paraclete because he acts as Christ's substitute on earth.    I hope this help you ion your studies.
