Context, Context, Context.

A text without context is a pretext to error!  As you read these posts, you may notice an emphasis on context, thats because the Bible is contextual, just as any conversation would be, God is telling us some things in His word and He speaks in context just as He created us to do. Context is valuble for both teaching truth and protecting from error, all false doctrine is based on scripture taken out of context, the saying is " error rides on the back of truth." Some error is innocently done, ( misunderstanding the text) and some not so much, the important thing is that error is still error!! If we will study in context even if we miss it and goof, sooner or later we will find the truth because its not going anywhere, and contextual studies will protect us from those who would pervert Gods word for their own gain.
